Sinclair Ferguson on the Marrow Controversy
In this lecture, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson discusses the historical background of the so-called "Marrow controversy" in the Church of Scotland, sparked by the republication of Edward Fisher's, The Marrow of Modern Divinity. There are a lot of correlations to the present controversies in today's Reformed churches regarding justification and the law/gospel distinction.
